Please join us for a sunset photography session at Broken Hill, Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve. This location provides an opportunity to take stunning sunset photos over the Pacific Ocean with the eroding sandstone bluffs and local flora as a foreground. There is no location like this in Southern California. Weather projections are for partly cloudy skies that evening, so conditions could be very favorable for this unique photo.

Photo Quest 01/2023: New/Fresh
2023 has begun and the quest continues! The monthly Photo Quest, of course. It’s not just the new year though: winter rains have arrived in Southern California and nature is looking beautiful, with fresh greens sprouting everywhere from the coast to the desert!

In our club’s calls for submissions to our MemberShare, Photo Quest and our club-internal contest, we have a phrase like “We expect technically solid photography without obvious flaws and distractions: have fun, but honestly self-evaluate. Take pride in your work!“ or similar.
