The theme for our August 2020 photo quest was “Freeze!” and below, you find the gallery with submissions from our members. The idea was to make a photo that freezes motion visibly and/or capture a fleeting moment that we wouldn’t be able to see without the aid of the camera, thus allowing us to appreciate details in a way that wouldn’t be possible without “freezing” that moment. Thanks to everyone who took part and interpreted the theme creatively!

The Photo Section of the Sierra Club San Diego Chapter began in 1984 and has grown to be among the largest photo clubs in San Diego County. Our members are artists, travelers, humanitarians, and conservationists. We support most genres of photography and welcome new members to our group.
