January 19 Photo Club Meeting – Visions of Antarctica with Dale Thompson

Main Presentation – 7:00 PM

Welcome to 2017!  Please join us for the first Photo Club meeting of the year and pay your annual membership for the year.

Dale Thompson retired in 2015 after 24 years as a U.S.Coast Guard officer, with a focus on marine science beginning at the Academy then in postgraduate research. This was followed by 17 years with Kaiser Permanente in various local and national director roles in emergency preparedness and response.

Dale’s interest in photography began during his sea duty which included 4 trips to Antarctica and one trip to the Arctic on icebreakers. Migrating through Nikon to Canon to Sony, his primary photographic interest has become telling stories through pictures, whether of travel or wildlife.

Intermission and MemberShare – Immediately Following

After the main presentation, we will have a brief intermission where you can pay your Photo Club Membership in person and purchase tickets for our sponsors raffle.

MemberShare will occur after the mini-presentations. Email or Dropbox (preferred) 8 images to our President at tm@tmschultze.com. You no longer need to resize your images.

Don’t forget, with your 2017 Membership you will receive one raffle ticket for free! You can purchase additional tickets for $ 1.00. If you paid for your membership at the last meeting, we will have your membership cards at the meeting!

Members are welcome to display their work in our meeting room. If you have a framed print and an easel, bring it in and set it up at 6:30 PM for everyone to see!
