April 2020 Online Meeting: Algodones Dunes

Our April 2020 meeting will be different. It’s the first online meeting of our club using Zoom video conferencing. Due to the technical restrictions, our online meetings can not be open to the general public and are limited to our members, only (you can join the Photo Section, of course!). While we will invite outside presenters again in the future, the first online presentation is coming from Photo Section chair Alexander S. Kunz, who will present story and images from his various visits to Algodones Dunes.

After our series of Lightroom workshops with Alexander S. Kunz, many of you have asked for the next step – going into Photoshop. February 2020 Activity: Palm Wash Canyons (Anza Borrego)

Join our president Alexander S. Kunz for an exploration of the (slot) canyons in the Palm Wash area of Anza Borrego Desert State Park, near the old Calcite Mine. This is a full-day activity (if you want) – depending on our timing we can head from the Palm Wash area to Fonts Point or Clark Dry Lake for sunset, and then have dinner in the town of Borrego Springs together.
