The theme for our February 2019 Photo Quest was “Shrublands” and here’s the gallery with member submissions. We know that this theme required “getting into” the subject in more than one way – we truly appreciate everyone’s submissions. Our monthly photo quest is a members-only activity. If you want to take part, please join the Sierra Club Photo Section.
Our first photo quest of 2019 was themed “Rainy Days” and here’s the gallery with submissions from our members. We think 14 submissions is a new record – thanks to everyone who took part. We hope y’all had fun chasing rain(drops)!
For our last photo quest in 2018, we asked our members to not make a new photo for a change – but instead go through their archives just this once, and pick one single photo that they like the most from the year. The gallery below contains their submissions.
Thank you all who regularly took part in our photo quests last year – your dedication to photography and your support of the club’s activities are much appreciated! Stay tuned for more quests this year! 🙂
Our photo quest in November 2018 was “Iconic San Diego”. Below is the gallery with our member’s submissions to the quest. Thanks a lot to everyone who took part!
The theme for our monthly photo quest in October was “Square” and we expected a large number of submissions because that’s EASY, right? Well… perhaps it wasn’t – or perhaps it was TOO easy? 😉 Either way, here are the images that you submitted for the quest. Thanks a lot to everyone who participated!
Our photo quest theme for September was “The Beauty of Trees”. Our member’s submissions are in the gallery below. Thanks to everyone who made a photo for the quest & submitted it!
August has ended, and so has another one of our monthly photo quests. The theme in August was “Night is Calling” and in the gallery below you find our member’s submissions. Thanks to everyone who took part, we hope you had fan & enjoy seeing other’s photos.
The theme for our monthly photo quest in July was “Panoramas”. It’s vacation time so the turnout was a little bit lower than in previous photo quests, and we expected that – a wholehearted thanks to everyone who dedicated their time to contribute this month, nevertheless!
